Responsibilities
Palomino Inc. is an established Solution Provider with a long roster of clients who engage us to develop mission-critical application with the help of our WebPal CMS/DM/EMS software platform. Our solutions are high-quality, yet innovative, and include collaborative R&D activities with our academic partners.
The candidate for this position will join the team in the following capacity:
- Research, design and implementation of web and database applications
- Define User Interfaces and Data Models using WebPal's XML-based application framework
- Team-based development using Agile/SCRUM based process
- Actively participate in launch, quality assurance, customer support and training
Requirements
Professional
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of web development experience
- Excellent English speaker required
Skill Set:
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with:
- LAMP - LINUX/Apache/mySQL/PHP
- Javascript/DHTML & AJAX
- Cross Browser Compliant HTML & CSS
- XML & XSLT (Sablotron, Xerces, Saxon)
- OOP in J2EE
- Source code control (i.e. Subversion, CVS)
Nice to Have:
- J2EE/Web Services/WebSphere
- Trolltech Qt
