If you are having trouble sending email please understand that this is not related to the web hosting services provided to you by Palomino. Sending email is a function of your ISP, Internet Service Provider, i.e. Bell, Rogers etc.
If you are receiving an error when sending email there are several common problems:
- Be sure you are connected to the internet.
- Ensure that you have the correct settings for your Outgoing (SMTP) server.
- Ensure that you are using the correct Username & Password in your Outgoing Server (SMTP) authentication settings. (See "Setting Up An Email Address in Outlook" for more details.)
If you are receiving bounce backs when sending an email to someone this means that:
- There is a problem with the persons email address you are sending to, or,
- Your email has been detected as spam and is being returned to you.
