Adding & Linking to Files


There are many cases where you'll need to add a file and/or document to a chapter. This can be in a variety of formats, the most popular of which are:

  • PDF
  • Word Document
  • Excel

Step 1: Add File

In order to link to a document you must first add the new file. To do this simply select the chapter in which you would like the file to reside, then right-click insert > basic > file.

When inserting the file you will be presented with 2 options:

  1. Show Icon: Select "No"
  2. Hidden: Select "Yes

You should now see the file that you inserted within the selected chapter.
