Including (sharing) content from other web sites

In some cases, it may make sense to include content directly from other web sites. This feature describes how you can "mirror" from other web pages. WebPal allows you to include (and share)  content from different websites (URLS) into  their website  and display this content as part of the page.

After inserting such an "include-remote-content " node in a chapter, you will be asked for a URL, a start-tag and an end-tag and an alert-recipient. Start-tag is a string where content will be included AFTER this tag. End-tag means content will be included UP TO this tag.

In the alert-recipient field, insert an email of someone who will be informed if the content that is supposed to be included is not available.

This new feature can be included more than once in every chapter  BUT requires php to be enabled on the webdestination.
