New WebPal CMS Publisher released

Today we released the next version of the Preview/Publisher module within the WebPal CMS Content Management System, implementing some requests brought to us from some of you and paving the way towards future improvements and integration.

You should feel comfortable with the new Publisher within a few seconds, but if you need any help, rest assured our service hotline is open to answer your questions anytime, at 1-866-360-0360.

You need to do absolutely nothing. As a true Software-as-a-Service application, the new version will simply load next time you switch to "Publish/Preview" in your WebPal CMS client.

Some new features:

• New look & feel: Overall the interface has received a new touch-up to be more in line with the other products of the WebPal Suite - specifically WebPal EMS and WebPal DB, and an upcoming version of the the WebPal CMS client.
• Improved report browsing: The publish and preview report list is easier to browse, and allows you to see at a glance who published which nodes, and when.
• Audit Trail: You can now send reports to colleagues and ask for their feedback or approval. The recipient just has to click on "Approve" and you will receive instant feedback that your changes are ready to go live. Simply enter an email address in the "Send Report" form, a message (optional), and send for approval. You will be able to see approval status, including who the approver was, in the report list, by expanding report details.
