Research & Development

Since incorporation, Palomino has always had a very strong emphasis on product innovation and technology leadership. We have partnered with four of the country’s most advanced universities to collaborate on research & development of new technologies.

All of our collaborative research projects are focused on online collaboration and knowledge sharing applications. In each project, we contribute our domain knowledge, client use cases, and the WebPal™ Product Suite as our own IP. All of this is in an effort to provide added value to the researchers and increase our own service offerings in the longer term by licensing, or acquiring, the developed IP for integration into our systems.

Through our own R&D efforts, and with the help of our academic collaborators, the WebPal™ technology platform is continuously being extended to include additional feature sets which aim to provide our clients with the most effective technology solutions for their businesses.

We love supporting researchers through collaborative work and see it as a way to give back to society and foster innovation in Canada. Besides, it generates new ideas and innovative solutions for our clients!
