Research Data Management

Ryerson University, Child Self-Regulation Lab

The Ryerson Psychology department is using a WebPal Research Data Management storage account to share clinical research data with collaborators across the country, in order to better assess the results of their clinical studies. The Child Self-Regulation group was looking for a solution more secure and more reliable than public cloud services, since frequently, large medical test result files needed to be shared.

WebPal is more reliable and secure than Dropbox for sharing data with my collaborators,” says Christine Michael, Research Coordinator of the Ryerson Child Self-Regulation Lab.

It helped me out of a pinch several times, when I had to get large EEG files out to other researchers. Knowing that all the data is stored in Canada on a secure network allows us to share sensitive data with confidence.”
